*Jay Giallombardo Retires as bass singer from VOCE Quartet*
 
VOCE Quartet of the LOL District, which placed 11th at the 2009 International competition in Anaheim, announces the retirement of bass singer Jay Giallombardo.  A creative arranger, international champion with the Grandma’s Boys quartet, and international champion chorus director with the New Tradition Chorus of IL, Jay has decided to focus on other musical outlets and we wish him the best. 
 
VOCE formally thanks Jay for his part in making us what we are today - for many home cooked meals on quartet weekends and many memories on and off stage.  He has provided artistic vision and wonderful musical arrangements.  
 
VOCE plans to remain active in the Barbershop Harmony Society, and is currently accepting show bids.
